Privacy Policy

Expedict is committed to best practices in protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy covers Expedict Ltd and its websites.

  1. Data Collected and Use

Visitors can access our website without disclosing personal data.

Expedict only collects personal data that is provided voluntarily for the purposes clearly stated on pages that allow visitors to enter such information.

"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or an identifiable individual (data subject). It would include any kind of information once linked with an individual.

Any data collected is used solely for Expedict’s own activities in the areas of recruitment, marketing and community information dissemination.

We do not automatically log personal data nor do we link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals.

Expedict is sole owner of the data provided to it in good faith. Personal data held by Expedict will be made available to subsidiary companies or third parties only if prior consent is obtained by the data subject concerned. Any communications sent by Expedict to parties whose personal data is held in our database will provide recipients with a means to opt out of any future communications.

There is no e-commerce aspect to the Expedict websites, so no payment facility details are collected from either visitors or registered users. We may, however, hold basic bank account routing information that allows us to make payment transfers to suppliers. This information is held securely and is used solely for internal accounts payable purposes.

  2. Your Activities

We do not use ‘cookies’ (see below) or any other involuntary method for collecting information about visitors.

We may keep record of IP host addresses solely for security purposes. All IP host addresses for which no security issues are identified are disposed of in a timely manner. We may also keep record of daily page views to monitor traffic volume for the purpose of planning future growth.

  3. Security of Information Held

All information submitted by either visitors or registered users of our websites is sent over an encrypted 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) channel. The Expedict server is hosted by award-winning Rackspace and security has been further reinforced by an independent team of intrusion prevention experts.

  4. Links to External Websites

Expedict’s own websites, meaning all content held within the expedict.co.uk and expedict.com domains, contains a certain number of links to external websites. Expedict’s Privacy Policy applies only to its own websites. Visitors to websites linked to Expedict are encouraged to read the privacy policy of those websites.
