Frequently Asked Questions

Do you use some kind of digital voice recognition to produce my documents?
No.  We employ living, breathing, intelligent humans to produce transcripts from your digital audio files.

Am I charged for the time it takes your typist to produce my transcripts?
No.  You are charged per minute of audio, meaning that there are no unpleasant surprises in our invoices.

How do you invoice?
We invoice at the end of each month for work completed in that month.  Our invoices are itemised, listing the relevant details of each job and its cost.

Do you offer volume discounts?
Of course.  Let’s meet to discuss your requirements and how we can meet them.

Can you advise us and provide training on making the switch to digital?
Yes. Contact us to arrange an on-site demonstration and discussion of required equipment and other technical matters.

My transcripts will be of a very sensitive nature.  What level of confidentiality can you guarantee?
Confidentiality was built into our system from the outset.  In addition to the encrypted channel for sending your audio files and retrieving your documents, we will sign any confidentiality agreement you wish to present us with.  Please read our note on Confidentiality.

How long will my source audio and transcripts be sitting on your server?
You control that through the file management module accessible through your account.
